Smaller appointments may have a better chance of getting in sooner where are longer ones may be pushed out a bit.

Here are a few things you can do that will help us both before your tattoo.
Exfoliate and Moisturize daily in the week leading to your tattoo appointment
Purchase aftercare ahead of time
Get a good nights rest
Avoid heavy drinking the night before
Eat a good, filling meal before your appointment
Shower before the appointment and leave skin free of moisturizer, self-tanners, and lotions
Gather all necessary documents needed for the appointment (Identification documents)

This is always a tricky question to answer. Lets start by going over the some of the potential risks for using numbing cream before your appointment
Skin texture changes making it hard to tattoo and can effect the process as well as healing
Uneven numbing. Some spots will not numb making it more uncomfortable
Numbness can wear off very quickly making it uncomfortable and intense randomly and quickly
Ink rejections or uneven saturation which can lead to more touch ups and skin trauma
May cause tattoo to heal slower due to blood vessel constriction
Allergic reactions
Toxicity risk when introduced to open wounds/skin. I will have to stop tattooing if this occurs!
Now with knowing the risks, if you feel as though you cannot get through your session without it, please do the proper research when purchasing and applying numbing cream.
I do not have numbing cream recommendations.
NOTE: For full color pieces, I would strongly recommend NOT using numbing cream before the tattoo. It will affect the process, color and healing! I have lidocaine products we can use during the process that will ease discomfort and help insure the tattoo will heal better.

Necessary identification documents (Minor’s need extra paperwork! See minors tab in FAQ)
Wear clothes that provide easy, uninterrupted access to the area you are getting tattooed. You can always bring a change of clothes
Snacks!
Sugary drinks
WATER
You can bring a pillow or blanket for long sessions
-
One or two people are perfectly fine!
Please avoid bringing in your whole family or group of friends as we have limited lobby space and space in the tattoo booth.

Aftercare is the most important part of getting tattooed! Here are some aftercare products I recommend that you can purchase before your appointment!
Hustle Butter (Top Recommendation)
Aquafor (Cheap and easily accessible. Will do the trick!)
Tattoo Goo (Good alternative to Hustle Butter)
Mad Rabbit (Reputable brand, but I have never used it. Do your research!)
Recovery Derm-Shield (Love this for larger pieces, pieces that are hard to reach and for full color pieces)
